COCKTAILS IN PRAGUE!
Crazy Daisy & Cash Only
On the 2nd
of August 2019 I went on a girl’s holiday to the city of Prague. Not knowing
what to expect I really did love the city when I was there and was such a good
location for a girl’s holiday/city break! One thing I really did love was the all
the unique bars and cocktails the city had to offer!
Crazy Daisy & Cash Only
So, on our first night in Prague our first stop was the “Cash
Only Bar”, getting a classic bramble cocktail which consists of gin with
blackberries, lemon juice and sugar syrup I was very happy with my drink’s
choice. However, it was very quiet there was no real buzz or atmosphere so we
only stayed for the one. Shortly after we left and headed over to the “crazy
daisy”, this was an absolute polar opposite from our previous bar, loud music
and dancing, it was so much livelier. Walking in we were given a complimentary
drink of absinthe and were sat in a very luxurious booth right next to one of
the stages with the dancers. The cocktails here were so unique! One of the
girls getting a “Kings Pipe” was definitely the most out there, coming in a pipe
shaped glass with smoke coming out one end, it was totally different to
anything, any of us had ever seen (although the shape of the glass did make it
very difficult to drink.) I went for the “Jewellery” cocktail which was vodka,
lime, Hibiscus tea and cranberry. The
drink was poured for me from a Diamond shaped glass into one which held a giant
ice cube. It was definitely a very extravagant venue for cocktails be I would
really recommend going if your ever in Prague, not only are the cocktails unique
but so is the experience.

Bar
Night 2 we
headed to the “Anonymous Bar”, this was a totally different experience compared
to any other bar I had every been too. Bar tenders, waitresses and customers
all wearing masks there is a spooky yet intriguing atmosphere. We had so much fun
trying on all of the masks however the best part was defiantly the cocktails.
From a “cookies and cream” cocktail coming in a giant cookie monster glass to a
rum cocktail being delivered in a blood bag, it was so insanely different to
anything else it just added to the fun and made as all more tempted to order more
and more cocktails to see how they all came out.
Cloud
Nine Sky Bar and Lounge
On our last night after doing some sightseeing we went on the
hunt for a nice relaxing place for drinks. So, after a look on trip adviser we
decided the “Cloud 9 sky bar and Lounge” was going to be a good idea! This was on
the roof top of the Hilton which was great because we arrived just in time to
watch the sunset which was such a nice way to end our day, the cocktails here
were also so lovely and had a very luxurious feel to them.
On our last day looking got a good way to end our trip we
headed to the “Bebop Bar”. Another bar
inside a hotel, the interior and the bar its self was quite average, nice and
homely however the cocktails were absolutely outstanding! The names of the
cocktails were all along the lines of saying “I am...” For example, “I am an adventurer”
which came with a jungle hat and a treasure chest filled with coins and a cocktail!
“I’m a genie” was probably my favourite overall, it arrived in a genie lamp and
had smoke pouring out of it, it was very extravagant.
Prague overall was such a good holiday and I hope if gave anyone
considering going some idea of where to go to enjoy a few cocktails! It was the ideal place for a holiday with friends as it was cheap to book and cheap when we were there, definitely ideal for Students!
